Introduction to computer

Computer is an electronic device that operating under the control of instructions stored in its memory, that can accept data, process the data according to specified rules, produce results, and stores the results for future use.

The components of computer are divided into two types:

Hardware – the electronic and mechanical equipment that makes up the computer like: Input Devices(key board, mouse, microphone, Scanner)

, Output Devices(Monitors ,Printers, Projectors, Speakers and headsets), Storage Devices and System Unit. Second one is software – a series of instructions that tells the hardware how to perform tasks like: System Software (operating systems and utility programs) and Application Software.
